Brand design and identity.

As clear as the Jolly Roger stands out amongst all flags, we love creating crystal clear, recognisable and memorable brand design and identity. Ones that, like the brand story, should be timeless and last generations. But they also must be beautifully relevant to the brand owners and their customers of today. Here are some examples of where we have teamed up with brands and one of our world-class creative partners, Gonçalves

Bogányi piano.

It is not often you get to be involved in a brand project from the conception of the product idea, prototyping, manufacturing and launching as part of the brand team. The Bogányi piano was one of those once in a lifetime moments. We created the entire brand platform from scratch. Seeing the brand set sail was one helluva journey and it continues today. An evolution and revolution all at once, in piano design and sound beyond time.

A SELF-PRESSURISING INJECTOR TO DRAMATICALLY REDUCE ENGINE EMISSIONS.

We created the RKLAB logo with a reference to the fuel injection technology in the identity turning from black (dirty) to blue (clean), the same way as the RK injector cleans up fuel emissions.

Ichor is the US version of RKLAB. Ichor is breaking new ground in clean diesel technology.

The Greek mythology connection.

In Greek mythology, ichor (/ˈaɪkər/or /ˈɪkər/; Ancient Greek: ἰχώρ)[1] is the ethereal fluid that is the blood of the gods or immortals. Our goal is to making diesel ‘ethereal’ - just as in the meaning of ‘ichor’ – a cleaner fluid that powers peak performance while reducing emissions.

Quay Global brand Platforms.

Yes, we took our medicine and designed our own logo:)

Quay (/kiː/)

A stone or metal platform lying alongside or projecting into water, for loading and unloading ships.

Quay was created to be as timeless as handwriting script, simple and clear as the signature on a captain’s logbook. All great global adventures and discoveries started from the famous Quay of Columns - Cais das Colunas - the marble steps flanked by two columns at the end of the downtown seaside square of Praça do Comércio on the River Tagus. Sitting there watching the beautiful sunset one day, sparked the idea that a quay resembled everything about how we saw global brand craftsmanship. How it fitted the idea of seasoned experts preparing each vessel on a global journey to further business or discover unknown treasures. Always on an endless quest for knowledge, to be relevant and evolving with the future. Brand Ahoy! Quay was born.
